Support Eva and her family during this difficult time
Today we don’t want to talk about Johnen-Druck and our employees, but about little Eva and her family, who urgently need our support. We have been asked to print flyers for a charity run and would now like to call on as many people as possible to get involved too.
Eva is a cheerful, two-year-old girl from Wehlen who regularly attended the toddler group at TuS Wehlen 1910 e.V. with her mother – until fate struck her unexpectedly: Eva was diagnosed with leukemia. Her life and that of her family, which also includes her four-year-old sister, has changed dramatically since then.
In addition to the health challenges, the family faces considerable financial burdens. The regular trips to Koblenz for chemotherapy, the care of the children and the hospital stays force the parents to make difficult decisions. The mother can only work part-time and the family had to buy a second car to cope with the numerous visits to the doctor.
The chemotherapy is expected to last until March 8, 2026. To support Eva and her family during this difficult time, TuS Wehlen 1910 e.V., together with her father’s colleagues who work at Peter Mertes KG, is organizing a charity run on 20 October 2024 at 11:00 am.
Each participant pays an entry fee of €10, which goes directly into the donation box. In addition, there will be a supporting program where, among other things, coffee and cake will be sold to collect further donations. The Stefan Morsch Foundation will also be on site on the day and offer a typing campaign.
Even those who are unable to take part in the run have the opportunity to help. Donations can be made to the Jodokus-Prüm-Stiftung account under the keyword “Eva”. Every amount – no matter how small – is valuable. On request, you will receive a donation receipt, whereby a bank receipt is sufficient for tax deductibility for donations up to €100.
